Welcome to Lemon in Ginger | A fresh look and my first post

The charm of writing my first post all over again! I’m loving it!

And, I am super-duper excited to introduce you to my new blog, a new look & a new name! Wow!

For over 2 years my ever faithful blog at Confusion Cook stayed and grew alongside me in the beautiful food blogging journey. I changed and learned a lot of things, refreshed some old world food tips – A very invigorating and fulfilling journey.

I felt it was time to fly solo and hence, Lemon in Ginger was born. Lemon in Ginger is everything fresh, warm, cozy, Indian, International, tangy, sour, cool, breezy, snuggly, and lots more… It takes my cooking & blogging to a whole new level. It also sets a different set of expectations for myself and for my readers. I love the challenge and will be proud to make it!

I request all my readers to extend their support in this new journey & subscribe to my blog again as I can not automatically transfer RSS or wordpress.com reader subscriptions to the new blog. If you land on Confusion Cook you will be re-directed to LiG.

I would like to give credit to my support system without whom LiG wouldn’t be here. I can tell you it is a very frustrating process to set-up your own blog and especially for someone like me who had no know-how of it. Frustrations, irritations, accusation, cheering and delivery were all part and parcel of the package, I guess. Starting with Tarun @ Crypsis, Mahesh @ Minterest, Harshal (don’t have his url) and last but not the least V, my hubby and most of all, all the numerous friends & family members who have unconditionally supported me.

I would also like to mention what LiG is running on – Eleven2 hosting, Genesis Framework & Innov8tive Child Theme – provided by Minterest and Domain Name by GoDaddy. Without all of the above and many more contributing factors, LiG wouldn’t be here. So, Thank you all!

Looking forward to seeing more of you here on…

  • I really love your new blog, my friend! It has so much zing, sparkle & I love the colourful lay-out too!

    • Thank you Sophie. I aimed for some zing and sparkle. Though some credit should go to Genesis Framework for making it very easy to host and manage a site. With little CSS I customized the colors of my choice. :)

  • Wow! The new look is absolutely rocking.
    So fresh. Congratulations! :)
