Spinach Cream Pasta

200 grams of pasta bowl Conversion Chart Print


180 grams of penne or any other pasta of your choice
1 tablespoon of olive oil
¼ cup of chopped onion
½ bunch of fresh spinach, chopped
½ small tomato, cubed
½ tablespoon of dried basil (use fresh if available)
2 tablespoons of cheese
½ cup of heavy cream
salt to taste
optional pepper and chilli flakes


1. Cook pasta as per instructions on your package.
2. Sauté onions in olive oil till golden brown.
3. Stir in spinach, tomato, basil, chilli flakes, salt & pepper. Cook for another 5-8 mins, stirring occasionally.
4. Add cream & cheese. Allow the gravy to come to a boil.
5. On low flame, add pasta. Mix well. Cook for 4-5 mins till uniformly heated. Serve hot with garlic toast.


Most delicious pasta ever made. Spinach Cream Penne is a crowd pleaser.

You can even use this cheese sauce if you do not want to make it heavy with cream.
