Lemongrass Ginger Herbal Tea is healthy and refreshing drink for rainy days. It is a balanced mix of ingredients to help relive cold symptoms and makes for a healthy replacement to regular tea. The ingredients like lemongrass, ginger are good for health and taste good as well.

- 2 leave fresh lemongrass
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 carom leaves ajwain, optional
- 2-3 tsp sugar granulated
Place 2 cups of water to boil in a pan. In the meanwhile, thoroughly wash and cut lemongrass leaves using a kitchen scissor into small pieces. Grate or crush ginger and wash carom leaves.
Once the water starts boiling, add lemongrass, ginger and carom leaves. Allow to boil them for 4-5 minutes to infuse their flavor well.
Add the sweetener of your choice - sugar or palm sugar or jaggery. Give it one final boil and remove from flame. Strain into cups and serve hot with snacks or put your feet up and drink a cozy cup with a book.
- You can use regular granulated sugar, palm sugar or even jaggery to make it healthier. You may need to adjust the sugar as per your taste.
- You can add tulsi (Indian basil), carom leaves, or any other herb of your choice to create your flavor.
