Oats Bread is a yeast-free bread made using whole wheat flour and oats. It uses honey to sweeten it lightly. A healthy take on bread and suitable for people who are yeast intolerant.

Ingredients

  • 3 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup oats quick cooking type
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • tbsp butter softened
  • 2 cup milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200 °C. Grease & dust a loaf tin.
  • Combine all dry ingredients. Then mix in butter using your fingers.
  • Add milk & honey, until well combined.
  • Pour batter in prepared pan, sprinkle some oats on top & bake for 45-50 mins.
  • Serve warm.
