Brownie in a Mug is for those midnight cravings or when you need the pick me up! Made in under 5 minutes in a microwave, this is perfect for summer evenings when it’s too hot to turn on the oven.

I made Brownie in Microwave long time back during the initial days of blogging, it was an average recipe and since then I never attempted another because I felt I didn’t have the right mug for it.
After years of blogging and experimenting, I have stopped fearing failure. Though there is still one dish which I am very, very scared to try but will surely give it a shot soon and then will tell you about it.
Even for this recipe, I made 2 attempts before I got it right. In the first attempt, I used only 2 tablespoons of water, which I felt was too little, so the brownie was dry and still had portions of flour peeking out. I also used a deeper mug probably I unconsciously thought that it will need space to rise.
In the second attempt, I increased the water by 1 tablespoon and used a broad mouth and shallow coffee mug. And the result was bang-on!
