Homemade Dried Red Chilies is simplest of the DIY. Really! Take your green chilies which are showing signs of turning red and just store them in a dark corner and let the time do it’s work!
More homemade simple ideas are – homemade cake flour, homemade dried mint, homemade cumin powder.
All you have to do is select the green chillies with slight red tinge, wash and dry them and leave them in dark corner of your kitchen to dry out.
Within 2-3 days you will see them change color from green to red/ orange.
You need to let them dry till the water content is lost, otherwise it will get mold as soon as you store them.
They also dry well in sun but they may turn black very quickly. So keep an eye.
Wasn’t it easy-peasy!
