DIY Almond Flour is a very simple way to make your own almond flour. You need to blanch almonds using first boiling and then cold water, and then toast them in oven. These toasted almonds are then coarsely ground into powder to form almond meal.
Almond meal or flour is so easy to make and one do not need to spend big amounts to buy it in specialty stores.
Be careful while grinding the almonds, just coarsely ground is also good. If you ground too much, then almonds will release natural oil giving you almond butter.
